Our Story

Hi, I'm Joe.

I've spent the last 20 years working in public aquariums. Throughout that time, I became increasingly frustrated with record keeping. I watched talented aquarists waste hours on paperwork. I saw countless hours lost to manual data collection. I saw paper records disappear, or quite literally disintegrate in the unavoidable puddles of water we worked around. And the spreadsheets? Endless spreadsheets. I collected data by hand, then re-entered it later into Excel. I lost record sheets and reconstructed them from memory. And I missed important trends because the information was scattered across folders, clipboards, and hard drives. It was inefficient, risky, and entirely avoidable.

"I saw paper records disappear, or quite literally disintegrate in the unavoidable puddles of water we worked around."

I saw these same problems play out at every aquarium I worked in, and I knew there had to be a better way.

Registrar Pro is the system I always wished I had. It's built from real experience, to solve real problems, without unnecessary complexity. Every feature exists for a reason and every workflow reflects how aquarists actually work, not how software companies think they work.

The existing systems are either too complicated, too expensive, or fundamentally disconnected from the realities of a public aquarium. They are usually generic compliance tools, but rarely the practical, day-to-day support system we actually need. I built Registrar Pro to fill that gap: a purpose-built platform that combines robust, modern software with a deep understanding of animal husbandry, welfare, and regulatory requirements.

Registrar Pro is not a technology project for me. It's the tool I wish I could have handed to every team I have worked with. Every feature exists because aquarists asked for it. Every workflow is designed around how we actually work.

"This is not software built by developers who've never done a nitrate test. It's built by someone who has done the job, understands the challenges, and knows what you need to succeed."

Registrar Pro exists to give time back to your team, give you confidence in your data, and clarity in your decision making, so the focus can return to where it belongs: the animals.
